Landscapes (Earth) – International
September 25, 2014
When I started going through my years of landscape pictures from around the world I realized I needed to limit what I post in this segment and then include other photographs in new posts like “How Humans Live”, “Animals”, “Cityscapes”, “Underwater”, etc. There were just too many photographs. Much of what I’m posting today was photographed before I upgraded to my Nikon D3100 SLR. Before I owned my Nikon I shot primarily with a higher end Panasonic point and shoot. The quality may not be as good, but I believe the framing and content is comparable. A little Photoshop adjustment doesn’t hurt either. 😉
What I wanted to accomplish is the presentation of various landscapes from several continents. This series features landscapes from Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Central America, South America, Canada and East Africa.
Upcoming posts will include People (U.S), People (International), Pictures from Roadside, Human Structures, How We Live, Life Under Water, and Macro and Close-Up. I welcome you to subscribe to this website if you’d like to receive an email or Facebook notification when I publish a new post. Just click the link, or add your email address to the section on the right side of this page.
Enjoy!

Rural Shadizi, Spin Boldak District, Kandahar Province, southern Afghanistan on the Pakistan border. Taken during a visit with melon and pomegranate farmers. Notice the marijuana field lower right. This field was as big as a football field. For articles and video on the work I did in Afghanistan in 2012, follow these links:
